Great spot. Great Pint. Bar staff where the best. One of the last dublin pubs where you meet real Dubs. Thank you for the outside smoking area. Next door there's a Paddy Powers . A pint A bet A bet A pint. The Auld days. I will visit in 24.
Went hear last year 2020 no traditional Irish music, singer, karaoke we had. A good time full of locals after a certain time of night, need a pin to the door to go in and out lot of thieves going in selling to the locals throughout the day and night which we found Aunt, that’s why they got a pin on the door Went Sunday the 20th of August was going to meet family their to our surprise they wouldn’t let us in in made every excuse under the Sun to let us in a couple of us. There was a function. They was clearly Noo no function or any event at all going on. I do remember on a Sunday last year. The thieves did it is hard it must be their main day to sell their goods so basically if you’re not a local don’t bother go on then you won’t be welcome. 😂😂😂😂😂 funny though
Great local pub right in the heart of Dublin Great Bar keepers two pints of Lager (coors and Heineken) plus pint Bottle of Bulmers €18.50 Great price for Town
Worst experience here ever. Waitress was lovely however never listened to requests when it came to nachos. Food came out before drinks and were also wrong. Hot chocolate was cold. Wasn’t given cutlery to eat the food until asked. Asked for no guac and sour cream came with everything sent it back and just got mince beef on top no salsa or jalapeños like the menu says. EDIT: Among paying I approached a girl working there about my bill and explained to her and at first she walked away and I thought she was doing something about it but comes back and asks for payment I pay and remind her and she then continues to tell me that she doesn’t care because I’ve already paid now. So I then told someone else who told the managers, and straight away among telling them they refunded my nachos and drink.
Very expensive for a pint of cider,in a run down pub, seem to be a lot of heavy drinkers in it,,main door on the right ,was locked unless you keyed in a code,so had to use door on left to get in.
Be warned the pints are an extra euro if you've not got an Irish accent.

Although beer is very good.
Atmosphere is very different to most other Irish bars. Definitely a rogues bar.
Good pub to sell stolen goods. I witnessed this twice in the hour I was there.
Good selection and friendly customer service. Though not an environment for the young lads, but the music is kind of okay.
Gets extremely crowded by 8pm with big family groups getting in and noisy. Overall fine to be here.
AVOID! VERY UNFRIENDLY STAFF! Absolutely horrendous experience here! Spent roughly 50 or 60 euro on drinks and snacks while watching the world cup final. When I walked up to order another drink during extra time they said my other 2 friends must order or they need to leave. Despite the fact that they already bought drinks and snacks. They refused to give me a drink as I was the only one purchasing a drink and when I returned to the table, 3 staff aggressively crowded our table and pressured us to leave. One of them threatened to send us to A&E and made a racist remark. We were shocked and we left immediately.
This is a struggling business that will rudely pressure you into purchasing more items then you want. AVOID especially if you are a tourist!
